No change. Recognised since February 2020 by the French political authorities, MMA will remain in the bosom of the French Boxing Federation (FFB). The Ministry of Sport has confirmed that it has renewed its delegation to manage the discipline. MMA is therefore not leaving the FMMAF, an internal body of the national boxing authority. Among the projects envisaged to develop the practice, a national campaign intended to gather and communicate with the main actors of MMA in France, including clubs, trainers, sports educators, leisure practitioners and competitors (professional and amateur). From next month, the FMMAF will deploy a software solution for clubs and licensees, with the aim of starting federal training for coaches. Finally, a series of amateur competitions is planned this season in five regional zones, with a view to the French championship scheduled for the end of the year.
