As a premium partner of the Paris 2024 OCOG, French luxury goods group LVMH is extending its presence at the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Already involved with three of its numerous brands – Chaumet for the medals, Moët Hennessy for hospitality and Sephora for the torch relay – it has just added a fourth: the House of Berluti. Berluti will dress the French delegation at the opening ceremonies of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, scheduled for July 26 on the Seine and August 28 on the Place de la Concorde. The brand specifies that the French athletes and their entourage will be outfitted from head to toe, Berluti having started out in 1895 as a bootmaker, before moving into ready-to-wear in 2011. The French delegation’s outfits will be designed in collaboration with the National Olympic (CNOSF) and Paralympic (CPSF) Committees, and the Paris 2024 OCOG. Berluti explains that its designers and stylists will strive to “offer a contemporary silhouette that symbolizes French elegance, while respecting its exacting codes of tailoring“. But we’ll have to wait a little longer to see the outfits: they won’t be revealed until late next spring.
