Atos loses its CEO

Atos is in upheaval. The French IT group, the IOC’s global partner in the TOP programme since 2001, has taken the strategic decision to split into two separate entities. By the end of 2023, less than a year before the Paris 2024 Games, Atos will be moving forward on two legs: on the one hand, SpinCo (Evidian) will bring together the digital transformation, big data and cybersecurity activities; on the other, TFCo (which will retain the Atos name) will concentrate the historical activities of outsourcing, digital workspaces and professional services. Rodolphe Belmer, the current CEO, is expected to leave the group in the coming months, at the latest by the end of September. Atos has been involved with the Olympic movement since 1989 as an information technology provider and in April 2020 extended its partnership with the IOC. It runs until the Paris 2024 Games, when the French group will have the dual mission of supporting the digital transformation of the event and helping the organising committee to secure its IT infrastructure.
