It was expected: the SNCF is joining the adventure of the Paris 2024 Games. The French national railway company has announced that it has signed a partnership agreement with the OCOG. Under the terms of the agreement, the SNCF will become an “Official Supporter” of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, the third level of the national marketing programme. The SNCF group has already been present at the major sporting events in France, including the Euro football tournament in 2016, and is also supporting around thirty top athletes through its “Athletes’ Scheme“, which was set up in 1982. At the Paris 2024 Games, SNCF Voyageurs will provide train transport for athletes, referees and members of the Olympic and Paralympic family. The partnership will also include the installation of spaces dedicated to the Games in major stations and Olympic and Paralympic events. With this new agreement, the OCOG Paris 2024 now has 22 official supporters.
