A new recruit to the Paris 2024 OCOG. It concerns one of the key sectors: transport. The Organising Committee has announced the arrival of Pierre Cunéo, 48, as Senior Director of Transport. A graduate of ENSAE and SciencesPo Paris, then of ENA, this former member of the french general inspection of finance worked for a long time at SNCF, where he was successively chief of staff of its chairman, Guillaume Pepy, director of rail strategy and regulation, and finally director of RER C. After a spell as chief of staff of Delphine Batho, then Minister for Ecology, Sustainable Development and Energy, Pierre Cunéo then joined Thales, before returning to the State apparatus by joining the Ministry of Finance in 2020. At the Paris 2024 OCOG, he will be responsible for managing the transport arrangements for people accredited to the Games, as well as liaising with all public transport operators.
