Ahmad Ahmad will seize the CAS

Ahmad Ahmad does not give up. The now ex-president of the African Football Confederation (CAF), suspended for 5 years from all football-related activities by the FIFA Ethics Committee, has decided to appeal. His lawyers announced via a press release their decision to seize the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS). The Madagascan leader disputes all the accusations of FIFA. His team of lawyers explains that the months of investigation carried out by the international body have revealed “many surprising procedures”. Above all, Ahmad Ahmad asks that his appeal to the CAS have a “suspensive effect”, so as not to “aggravate the damage” suffered and “allow him to campaign for his re-election” to the presidency of CAF.
