Accor changes its status

It was unexpected, even very unexpected: the Paris 2024 OCOG has just registered the arrival of a new premium partner, the first level of the national marketing program. At the same time, however, it has lost an official sponsor, the rank just below it. L’Equipe reports that the Accor hotel group, which has been involved in the Paralympic Olympic adventure since November 2021, has been upgraded from official to premium partner. Curiously, this move has not been accompanied by any communication from either party. With this change, the Paris 2024 OCOG now has seven first-tier sponsors: Accor, BPCE, Carrefour, EDF, LVMH, Orange and Sanofi. However, the list of official partners has been reduced by one, to thirteen names.
