
The International Swimming Federation (World Aquatics, formerly FINA) has unveiled the programme for the 2023 edition of the Swimming World Cup. It is exclusively European, with three stages held in October in three different cities, in just three weeks. The competition circuit will start in Berlin (6-8 October), continue in Athens (13-15 October) and end in Budapest (20-22 October). This new edition of the World Cup will be held between the 2023 World Championships in Fukuoka, Japan (14-30 July) and the 2024 World Championships in Doha, Qatar (2-18 February). Its three stages will be held in Olympic pools (50m) and will be part of the qualification course for the Paris 2024 Games.
