A new agreement with ITA

Umar Kremlev keeps his promise: he rushes forward without pausing. The Russian leader, elected last month as president of the International Boxing Federation (AIBA), signed on Monday (January 11th) in Lausanne a new cooperation agreement with the International Control Agency (ITA). It will cover the year 2021. By virtue of this commitment, AIBA entrusts ITA with the entire anti-doping program, in particular location, authorizations for use for therapeutic purposes (TUE), biological passport, monitoring for compliance with the WADA Global Code, and of course all, in and out of competition, testing. The AIBA recalls in a statement that it was one of the first international federations to entrust ITA with the management and supervision of its anti-doping program.
