A label for qualifying events

A new feature in the Olympic world: a “Paris 2024 Qualifier” label (pictured above) will be affixed to the vast majority of the 3,000 or so competitions organised in individual sports to enable athletes to secure their ticket to the next Summer Games. It is intended to help the public navigate the sometimes complex Olympic qualification process. The label combines the Olympic rings and the Paris 2024 logo. It will be used for the first time this week at the World Street Skateboarding Championships, held from 28 June to 3 July in Rome. The competition, in addition to awarding the world titles, is expected to distribute the first qualification points for the Paris 2024 Games.
