The job fair organized by Paris 2024 on Tuesday September 26 at the Cité du Cinéma, in the heart of the future athletes’ village, was a great success. The recruitment operation organized by the OCOG in conjunction with some 50 companies involved in the Olympic and Paralympic Games attracted almost 7,000 participants, with 16,000 positions on offer. According to figures announced by the Organizing Committee, nearly 2,000 promises of employment were made during the day, in the hotel and catering, transport, logistics and energy, security, cleaning and waste management, sports and events sectors. Next stop: an Air France “job-dating”, on Thursday October 5 at the IFTM-Top Résa trade show, at Porte de Versailles in Paris. As an official partner of Paris 2024, the airline is offering nearly 400 positions for seasonal or fixed-term ground staff at the two Paris airports. Another Games sponsor, Randstad, will be holding a “job-day” on October 18 at the Paris La Défense Arena. The aim is to recruit over 3,000 people for the COJO and its partners, in the logistics, events, audiovisual, services, hotel and catering sectors.
