China’s isolation from the international sporting movement is over. The country is back on the map of major events, and with the same appetite. The Badminton World Federation (BWF) has announced in a press release that the next four editions of the World Tour Finals will be held in China, in the city of Hangzhou. The series will begin this year and continue in 2024, 2025 and 2026. The next edition is scheduled for December 13 to 17. As of this year, the World Tour comprises 31 tournaments, with an increased number of Super 1000, Super 750 and Super 500 events. Hangzhou will host the 19th Asian Games from September 23 to October 8, 2023.
